Purpose:
The mission of Milwaukee Audubon (MAS) is to protect and restore Wisconsin’s natural heritage and ecology through active leadership, education, advocacy and stewardship. MAS is a local chapter of National Audubon and an active member of the Wisconsin Audubon Council. Although MAS has been around for much longer, MAS was incorporated in 1976 as a section 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. At present there are approximately 1,900 members covering six counties in southeast Wisconsin.
