Purpose:
Discovery Farms are real working Wisconsin farms in different geographic areas, facing different environmental challenges. Discovery Watershed is currently engaged in two watershed-scale studies in St. Croix county and Monroe/Vernon counties: Jersey Valley Watershed Project - In Monroe/Vernon counties, the project focus is a tributary to the Kickapoo River, which is part of the Jersey Valley Lake watershed. Dry Run Creek Watershed Project - In St. Croix county, the program is studying a tributary to the Willow River, which eventually empties into the St. Croix River.
