Found many individuals cruising a length of the Root River about 1 mile upstream of the Horlick Dam, or 1.1 miles upstream of the Hwy. 38 (Northwestern Avenue) bridge, near River Bend Nature Center.

Jade Clubtail (Arigomphus submedianus)
Photographed
Though common along a 1/4 mile stretch of river, don't recall seeing any outside that rather small area. The dragons were resting on branches and partially submerged logs along the river and the individual in the photograph sat nicely on my kayak while I photographed it. (1 photo)
