Sand barrens about 2 miles east of Blue River.

Striped Saddlebags (Tramea darwini)

1 individual, spotted perched at top of 15-foot bare tree. Approaching storm made lighting difficult, and shortly it began to rain and the dragonfly flew off. Saddlebags were thin and reddish-brown, abdomen red with black S8-10 segments. (4 photos)
