Section of the Oconomowoc River between County Line Road and Loew Lake.

Common Green Darner (Anax junius)
Observed
Relatively few seen, no ovipositing pairs.
Lance-tipped Darner (Aeshna constricta)

One male patrolling over vegetation near water's edge. Thoracic stripes on right side unusually broken, left side appeared normal.

Only one seen at the mouth of Loew Lake, not along the river.

Saw two flying overhead.
Slaty Skimmer (Libellula incesta)
Photographed
Surprisingly abundant. Observed males engaged in territorial behavior, a couple of mating pairs and ovipositing females.
