The Wisconsin Bat Program monitors and manages bat populations in the state.
Much of the data the program collects comes from citizen-scientists,
and the program relies heavily on grants and funding support from Wisconsin citizens.
Save the date! This year's Wisconsin Bat Festival is October 3 through the 5 in Milwaukee Wisconsin! See live bats from around the world, learn about bat monitoring and research, as well as how to join the fight against the deadly bat disease white-nose syndrome. For updates and schedule head to the WI Bat Festival webpage.
