From intersection of Hwy O and Hwy 70 on the Vilas / Oneida county line, go south on Hwy O about 1 mile to where it crosses the Wisconsin River (upper reaches of Rainbow Flowage). Boat downstream about 2 miles, passing all the way through very large hairpin turn. Site is just downstream of hairpin turn on south side of flowage. Site can also be accessed from gravel road running on south side of Flowage. Will need to hike into flowage from road about 1 mile.
