June 22, 2013 — Kenosha County
Hawthorn Hollow Nature Conservancy - Green Bay Road close to the Kenosha border with Racine. The Pike River runs through the property which is where I find the Jewel Wings each year.
Up to 5 or so Common Whitetails in a small garden area close to ther river.
Maybe 30 or so Jewelwings in shrubbery along the river and in the small flower garden close by.
I do NOT know damselfly varieties and this is only a guess. I needed an "unknown" box listed under the spreadwings:) This was perched on a peony in the flower garden at the same location.
