May 29, 2006 — Grant County
Small shallow boggy pothole with VERY little open water. Water is there but water plants have overgrown most of the surface. Pothole is along the Rountree Branch of the Little Platte River very close to intersection of the river and Southwest Road. This is a different pothole than the open water one where the 12-spotted Skimmers were noted in the other report.
Western Red Damsel (Amphiagrion abbreviatum)
Male netted and brought home for photography. (1 photo)
