Several males on patrol along the edge of the river
Skillet Clubtail (Gomphurus ventricosus)
Netted and released
1 male flushed from weeds. It was cloudy and few dragonflies were out.
St. Croix Snaketail (Ophiogomphus susbehcha)
Collected
I spotted a dragonfly floating in the river. When I scooped it out, it turned out to be a male St Croix Snaketail with a large bug. It was barely alive and didn't revive. (1 photo)
