5 mile stretch of the Little Fox River, from County ES to Center Road.

Common Green Darner (Anax junius)
Observed
Many (30 plus), including several ovipositing pairs.
Jade Clubtail (Arigomphus submedianus)
Photographed
Approx. 6 to 8 males seen in 5 mile stretch, no females. Males were mostly defending territory, perched only briefly. Favored low branches and downed logs as perches.

Prince Baskettail (Epitheca princeps)
Observed
Several (10 - 15)seen in flight.
Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis)

Super abundant (there must have been hundreds - they seemed to be everywhere - all along the 5 mile stretch of river).
Common Whitetail (Plathemis lydia)

Abundant, though not as much so as the Blue Dashers.

Fairly abundant.

A few, not as abundant as other skimmers.

Almost as abundant as the Common Whitetails.

Relatively few for a species that is abundant on other rivers. 20 plus.

A few, predominantly as the surroundings became more urban and marshy.
