Bloomer. Small creek that empties into Lake Como. Sandy bottom, rocky in shallow sections. A few feet wide in most places, occasionally widening into small pools. Much grassy vegetation growing in shallow areas. Shoreline densely vegetated with tall grass. Shrubby vegetation nearby in some sections. North of soybean factory on Industrial Drive.

Netted and released
A few intermediate-type male bluets seen. Netted one to confirm identity by examining cerci with 10X loupe. A few female bluets also seen, possibly this species.
Lyre-tipped Spreadwing (Lestes unguiculatus)
Netted and released
One female in the vicinity of retention pond south of creek.
