This is a small wetland that always has standing water. I believe the Black Earth Creek begins here. It has some cattails and tall grass. It can be entered by walking along an impoundment that begins where the bike path nears the corner of Red Beryl Drive and Sunstone Lane

Blue-eyed Darner (Rhionaeschna multicolor)

Flying back and forth along edge of cattails, watched through binoculars. I cannot rule out spatterdock darner. I am now occasionally seeing 'blue-eyed' darners at multiple locations. I am assuming this species, always occasional, is becoming more regular rather than spatterdock is moving into the area
