Dragonhunter (Hagenius brevistylus)

Picked the Dragonhunter up by hand. I have been seeing them ever weekend on the Eau Claire river, while kayaking between the dam at sout shore road and where the river enters Lower Eau Claire lake. Maybe a half dozen in an afternoon. Often not much else on the river. I wonder if predation by Dragonhunters is a factor for other Odonatates
