Purpose:
Spotted lanternfly is a highly invasive insect that has not yet been found in Wisconsin. Its preferred host plant is the invasive tree-of-heaven. Volunteers map tree-of-heaven locations and/or monitor tree-of-heaven and other vegetation for spotted lanternfly.
