Comet Darner (Anax longipes)
Observed
One fly-by from one edge of the pond over the center to the other side and continuing on. Unmistakable, fully red tail on an anax. Lots of female CGD present but this was a very distinct red tail. I wanted to take a photo but it disappeared into the prairie.
