Take Rutland Dunn Town Line Rd, then turn north on McManus Rd. There is a State Natural Area parking lot on the right. You can't drive any further than this spot, but you can either walk or bike for a little less than a mile north on the gravel road until it ends at a private property. To the right is a grass road/path. Walk or bike around this path to the right, going counterclockwise. At this point (42.94655, -89.32230), there is a path that will take you downhill to the boggy lake area.
