Take Rutland Dunn Town Line Rd, then turn north on McManus Rd. There is a State Natural Area parking lot on the right. You can't drive any further than this spot, but you either walk or bike for a little less than a mile north on the gravel road until it ends at a private property. To the right is a grass road/path. Walk or bike around this path to the right, going counter clockwise. At this point (42.94655360752583, -89.32230091783923), there is a path that will take you to the boggy area

I was very surprised to see an almost-mature male. I have never seen on in May before, and never one at this location. I got one bad photograph before he flew away.
