Mead Lake County Park North Unit. This is the camping area, north boat launch, beach, and pavilion. Lots of human activity. There is a shallow, narrow body of water between the park and an island. Most of the dragonfly activity was here (no boat traffic) or in a shallow bay to the south where the point juts out into the lake. Also includes the wetlands on Bachelor Road between the north and south units where there is a bridge over the wetlands.

Common Green Darner (Anax junius)
Observed
2 observed over the wetlands on Bachelor Road
Prince Baskettail (Epitheca princeps)
Photographed
2 seen running a square pattern over the shallow bay near the point typical of a baskettail. ID based on size, they were large--nearly darner sized. Poor flight photos, but I think the wing pattern can be discerned.
