Ickes Boardwalk in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum. It is an open area kept moist by a seepage, filled with horsetails, surrounded by woods.

One was flying high over the clearing and Jessie noticed it land, pretty high up in a willow tree. They were first observed in this location in May. Note the large piece missing from the left hindwing - showing some age.
