Beulah Bog State Natural Area. 12:00 to 3:30pm survey. Lower 80's, moderate breeze, sunny to mostly cloudy. I concentrated my efforts deep into the bog among the Tamaracks beyond the sphagnum perimeter plus the more accessible areas along the trail and lake.

Slender Spreadwing (Lestes rectangularis)
Netted and released
Two males, one female among the sedges.
Azure Bluet (Enallagma aspersum)
Photographed
Several as usual along the lake.
Citrine Forktail (Ischnura hastata)
Photographed
One or two males and one female. I found the male right away where the trail ends at the bottom of the hillside and meets the sphagnum mat with sedges and arrowhead. I found the female deeper in the bog within the Tamarack stand. The second male was in this area as well but not near the female. I can't confirm this wasn't the same male seen earlier.

Canadensis)the pale mark on S2 is also split, PLTS has notch at upper end. The stripes are contrasting bright and green, subtly bluish possibly on the posterior end to yellowish at the anterior.
