Wandering Glider (Pantala flavescens)
Observed
If I had known at the time that this species had not been recorded previously in Iowa County, I would have attempted to get a photo. I observed it through binoculars to be sure it was not a Spot-winged Glider. It was flying over the prairie area.
White-faced Meadowhawk (Sympetrum obtrusum)
Photographed
I was surprised to see so many (probably more than 20) along the path through the wet field/marsh between Marsh Creek and the Wisconsin River.
Widow Skimmer (Libellula luctuosa)
