First year restored wetlands at Mequon Nature Preserve on Donges Bay Road.

Lyre-tipped Spreadwing (Lestes unguiculatus)
Netted and released
I wish I would have taken better angles on the rear of the head. This wetland is new this year, so far I have seen Southern, Sweetflag, and Lyre-tipped. The Lyre-tipped were males, this is the first female if it is, I'm merely going off of male presence, the location being small open temporary pools, and time of year for this one.
