Sunny skies with less wind then 9/29/2024, but continued to observe fewer Lance-tipped Darners flying. Expect the observation reflects progression toward the end of the flying season for them. Netted, photographed, and released 5, the majority of which had worn, damaged wings, reflecting older specimens. Observed a yellow, female perched in vegetation just above the waterline.
