May 18, 2025 — Wood County

Sandhill State Wildlife area. I concentrated my efforts on the auto loop from about the deer trap box east toward the exit, into the woods, along the edges of fens and pools as well as sun drenched roadsides. There is also a road that intersects the auto loop both in a NW and SE direction 44.3103339, -90.1468131. I walked this road as well to the NW and found many Whitefaces and some Boghaunters. No sun until about 10am, low 62 as a high, left at 1:45pm.
