Fox River just east of Saller Woods in Racine Co. I parked at the boat launch parking area next to HWY 83 and walk east under the highway bridges and south east a little ways on the river. This part of the Fox River is currently very low and can be crossed easily.

Eastern Ringtail (Erpetogomphus designatus)

Found this female resting on some dried matted grass not far from the bank on the north side. I tried to capture additional photos but it was skittish and flew over the brush. This part of the Fox River is currently very low and can be crossed with just shin high boots. I’m pretty confident on the ID but if it turns out to be a Snaketail, please correct.
