UW Arboretum Odonata Monitoring - Gardner Area
UW Arboretum East Entrance & Gardner Marsh. Includes channelized Wingra Creek either direction from the Arboretum Drive bridge over the creek and the Gardner Marsh trails/boardwalks.
12;16-1:30 PM - Wingra Creek - 79F, mostly cloudy, calm -- LOTS of damselflies that I couldn't identify skimming over water and perching on lily pads, several times the number that I could identify. I noticed very few damselflies in the shoreline vegetation.
1:32-1:50 PM - Gardner Marsh trails/boardwalks - 82F, cloudy, calm - NO ODES AT ALL HERE (not even unidentified ones)
