Hartman Creek SP. Did the trail around Allen Lake, ‘swam’ in Hartman Lake for a good amount of time then did the trail around that lake. Lovely day.

1 male patrolling Hartman Lake as we were ‘swimming’.

(Did not realize they haven’t been documented here. Disregard since I did not attempt a photo, but definitely seen them. Now I will make them a target on my next trip!)

Exciting to finally see these! Around 15 or so I would estimate on Hartman Lake. Pretty sure mostly male, but possibly older females also?

Only a few.
Widow Skimmer (Libellula luctuosa)

Other than the smaller skimmers they were probably the most abundant flyers on both lakes.
