Sunset Park. Walked the edge of the Fox River near boat launch then along the creek to the pond and back.

A good amount throughout the park, more so near the river.
Eastern Forktail (Ischnura verticalis)
Observed
Abundant. Both sexes a couple in wheel seen.
Orange Bluet (Enallagma signatum)

Maybe half a dozen seen around lily pads on the river’s edge.
Powdered Dancer (

Numerous. Both sexes, noticed more males.
Stream Bluet (Enallagma exsulans)

Seen 3 pairs on the edge of the river.
Tule Bluet (Enallagma carunculatum)

Around half a dozen near creek.
Common Green Darner (Anax junius)

2 flying on the pond. Both appeared to be males.
Black Saddlebags (

A pair in wheel flew up from pond and posed for maybe 30 seconds before going back down to oviposit in tandem.

Abundant on river and pond.

6 or 8 seen near river. Mostly males, and 1 female perched for a couple looks.

One flying in small open grassy area actually decided to land in a decent spot in tall grass.
Widow Skimmer (Libellula luctuosa)

1 seen near river. Not cooperative for a photo.
