Menasha Conservancy. Trail to open grassy area between ponds, out to meadow and looped back. Fairly humid late morning outing after a heavy storm around dawn.

Seen only a few males near edge large pond.

A couple males near Forktails.

12-15 total. A few flushing and a handful flying over meadow.

Photographed 1 perched male. Seen multiple other Aeshna flushing/flying but could’ve been a Lance-tipped or two mixed in.
