Menasha Conservancy. Mostly cloudy and gusty winds, but still bright with sun coming through at times. Did usual route on right hand trail from lot to open area then right past ponds out to meadow and back.

By far the most I’ve seen in a single outing this season! Most flying, some flushing, and a couple perched. Estimated around 100 individuals with the bulk over and in the meadow.

One female. Seen flying low in the meadow and land. Was able to approach semi close for good looks. Only my 2nd sighting one one.

Photographed 2 males, and certain I seen a couple more zipping by. One on edge of meadow perched extremely low and the 2nd landed in a pond side tree on trail out.
