July 1, 2014 — Rock County

Most of the time I was walking around the North Loop of Gibbs Lake County Park, but I also walked to and from the main parking area. I also saw and photographed one Spreadwing which I could not identify, and also saw at least five others of the same species. I also saw several unidentified Bluets, and one dragonfly(?) which I have never seen before. It was tiny, only about an inch long, had a very fat abdomen, a small body, and small wings. Overall it was the color pattern of a Halloween Pennant, but was much smaller and did not have as many spots on the wings. I photographed it. eBird checklist here:http://ebird.org/ebird/wi/view/checklist?subID=S18962939 Butterfly checklist here: https://wisconsinbutterflies.org/butterfly/sightings/11945
