White-faced Meadowhawk (Sympetrum obtrusum)
Netted and released
Examined male hamules in hand with 10x loupe. Netted one. Occasionally the dragonfly extended the hamules away from its abdomen and I was able to see the blunt squared-off end of the dorsal lobe. In the photograph the hamules are not extended and the dorsal lobe is somewhat obscured.
