September 2, 2018 — Chippewa County

Small creek that empties into Lake Como. Sandy bottom, rocky in shallow sections. A few feet wide in most places, occasionally widening into small pools. Much grassy vegetation growing in shallow areas. Shoreline densely vegetated with tall grass. Shrubby vegetation nearby in some sections.

One in well-vegetated retention pond. Pond is currently dry.

Netted and released
Darner feeding swarm between 6 pm and 7:30 pm. Netted two females.

Netted one from feeding swarm. Unfortunately decapitated it with the net.
