Turtle Creek. East of South Lathers Road Bridge.
Several males along the creek, perching on the canoe, vegetation, rocks, and dead branches protruding from creek.
Common Whitetail (Plathemis lydia)
One male flying over creek.
American Rubyspot (Hetaerina americana)
Dozens and dozens of both sexes, including pairs in wheel, in vegetation alongside creek and flying over water.
Ebony Jewelwing (Calopteryx maculata)
One male at creek's edge.
One immature male, landed on canoe.
Several flying over creek, occasionally landing on canoe.
Powdered Dancer (Argia moesta)
Several males, mostly perched on dead branches protruding from creek.
Stream Bluet (Enallagma exsulans)
Hundreds, including tandem pairs, flying over the water, perched on overhanging and creekside vegetation
