Section of the Oconomowoc River between County Line Road and Loew Lake.

Common Green Darner (Anax junius)
Observed
Numerous singles, tandems and ovipositing pairs. No other darners seen.
Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis)
Observed
By far the most abundant odonate on the river. Uncountable. They were still active after 6:00 pm.
Eastern Pondhawk (Erythemis simplicicollis)
Observed
Many. There was much mating and ovipositing taking place.
Slaty Skimmer (Libellula incesta)

Only saw three males.

Many. By far the most abundant damselfly. Expected to see some Vesper Bluets, but did not see any.
