Much grassy vegetation growing in shallow areas. Shoreline densely vegetated with tall grass. Shrubby vegetation nearby in some sections. North of soybean factory on Industrial Drive. --- noon to 4 pm, overcast becoming partly sunny, 71 F, moderate northwest wind

Shadow Darner (Aeshna umbrosa)
Netted and released
Netted several. Activity at the creek and adjacent field. Two mating pairs of darners observed. Could not confirm if they were this species, but it's likely since no other darner species have been caught at this site this year.
