Common Green Darner (Anax junius)
Observed
About 5 males, one tandem pair, one female ovipositing alone.
Spatterdock Darner (Rhionaeschna mutata)
Photographed
Observed one female ovipositing. She was very skittish, spending very little time at each spot. She chose areas that were sheltered overhanging. Easily startled to flight by presence of other odonates.
Unicorn Clubtail (Arigomphus villosipes)
Photographed
Appeared to be the dominant clubtail on this stretch of river. Fairly abundant - at least twenty, if not more.
