My backyard in Port Washington, near a small creek and Lake Michigan.
Common Green Darner (
Anax junius)

Started noticing a few common green darners flying overhead, and feeding around 3:30 pm. A few came in to roost in a tree and stayed for a few hours, along with a few other migratory dragonflies.
Swamp Darner (
Epiaeschna heros)
Photographed
Saw one female perched. She stayed for at least two hours after first spotted. Between 81 and 85 degrees, with a NW to WNW wind of 6 mph.
Black Saddlebags (Tramea lacerata)
Observed
Clearly saw one fly overhead, and at least one perched in the tree.
Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis)

As many as five, seen perched in the treetops.
Spot-winged Glider (Pantala hymenaea)

Twelve-spotted Skimmer (Libellula pulchella)

Saw a few perch in the tree, all seemed to be immature adults.
Wandering Glider (Pantala flavescens)
Observed
Saw at least four fly overhead.
