Just west of Guenther Park and bike path in Port Washington.

Common Green Darner (Anax junius)
Observed
Signs of light dispersal activity with sporadic waves of dragonflies flying over our house as the wind picked up. 85 degrees with NW wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Swamp Darner (Epiaeschna heros)

Observed one flying by my deck, seeking a suitable perch. Unfortunately, it's chosen perch was high up, in deep shade.

Observed
Several among the waves of Common Green Darners that flew over the house.

Observed
One perched in tree near the deck.
Spot-winged Glider (Pantala hymenaea)
Observed
At least two, in flight over the house.
Twelve-spotted Skimmer (Libellula pulchella)
Observed
One perched in tree near deck, a few in flight over house.
