Bloomer. Small creek that empties into Lake Como. Sandy bottom, rocky in shallow sections. A few feet wide in most places, occasionally widening into small pools. Much grassy vegetation growing in shallow areas. Shoreline densely vegetated with tall grass. Shrubby vegetation nearby in some sections. North of soybean factory on Industrial Drive. [12:00-14:20, partly sunny becoming overcast, north wind, low 60s]

Netted four females and one male. Saw at least a dozen darners, some perched low in weeds, some flying low among weeds.
